AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CERTAIN SECTIONS OF CHAPTER 12 OF THE COMMERCE CITY REVISED MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO THEFT AND POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA

Summary and Background Information:  This ordinance updates the city's municipal code to reflect recent legislative changes at the state level, including the legality of the possession of one ounce or less of marijuana by individuals twenty-one years of age or older and the allowance for municipal prosecution of theft of items below $2,000.00.
