RESOLUTION APPROVING CITY 2013 HUTF Report

Summary and Background Information:
The City is required to submit this annual report to CDOT, which determines the amount of money the City will receive as their portion of the gas tax, based on the miles of roadway in the City. This report is a database containing all of the streets owned and maintained by the City. Information in the report includes: street name, year built, length, width, surface type, and condition. The Highway User Tax Fund (HUTF) Annual Mileage Certification is required from all eligible jurisdictions each year. The report also updates any city boundary changes by annexation.

Staff Recommendation: The HUTF Annual Mileage Certification is required from all eligible jurisdictions each year. The enclosed Road System Inventory Listing reflects the status of the public roadway system for Commerce City as of December 31, 2013.
