Summary & Background
Resolution No. 2022-118 authorizes the Mayor and the City Clerk to grant a utility easement to 27J Schools, substantially in the form attached. 27J Schools is in the process of designing underground fiber optic utilities to provide service to their schools.
27J Schools has requested a utility easement from the City within the right-of-way of E. 96th Avenue and within City owned parcel 0172320100001 to be recorded in an Easement Agreement (“Agreement”) substantially in the form attached hereto as Exhibit A, Exhibit B, and Exhibit C to permit construction of electrical and communications facilities and all fixtures and devices appurtenant thereto on City property. See Attachment 1 for a project location map.
