Title
City Council Meeting Compliance with Health Order
Body
Summary and Background Information: Tri-County Health issued a mask order effective November 24, 2021, requiring mask wearing in all public indoor spaces through January 2, 2022. While we don’t know if the order will be extended beyond January 2, 2022, we need to be prepared for that possibility.
City staff members have discussed two options that would enable Council to meet with members of the public in attendance and remain in compliance with the health order.
Options:
A. Council, staff, and the public wear masks at all times during Council meetings, or
B. Become a fully vaccinated facility for Council meetings (where everyone is vaccinated).
