Summary and Background Information:
The 2020 budget has been prepared for the public's information in preparation for the public hearing opened on October 21, 201 and continued to November 4, 2019.
The attached presentation gives a summary of the 2020 budget, which is balanced as required by law.
During the 2018 budget process the decision was made to reduce the mill levy to 10 mills for three years, 15 mills for two years, and return the mill levy to 27 mills starting in 2023 when the Sable Altura mill levy drops to 10 mills.
The 2020 budget document is available for review in the office of the City Clerk and a draft version can be found online at c3gov.com.
