Summary and Background Information:  
Children, families, teachers, cities, towns, and parks are gearing up for this year's Kids to Parks Day, a nation-wide day of outdoor play. This year's KTP Day will be held on May 17, the Saturday before Memorial weekend. Commerce City has historically supported this event, encouraging residents to get the children in their lives out to the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge or simply enjoying some of the city's 700 acres of parks and open space.
