Summary and Background Information:
In 2013, the City Council adopted the Public Art Master Plan. The city worked with the Cultural Council and public art consultant to create a Public Art Maintenance Plan to ensure the care and conservation and preservation of city's public art though regular, inventory, condition assessment, conservation and maintenance of the city's public art collection.
Maintenance and conservation efforts are funded primarily with funds from the Capital Improvement Projects 1% public art fund, with 10% set aside for maintenance. There is currently $401,501 in the CIPP Capital Improvements and Preservation Plan fund. $86,405 has been designated for maintence.
