Second Creek Infrastructure Update

Summary and Background Information:
The new recreation center at Second Creek is one of the 2K Bond Program first five projects. Construction of the new recreation center requires infrastructure improvements to bring utilities to the site and provide residents access to the center. Initial design concepts for the infrastructure were shared in a study session on January 25, 2016. Council feedback was incorporated during the design process and an update was shared in a study session on June 27, 2016. The infrastructure scope was split in to Package A and Package B to allow infrastructure critical to the new recreation center to be built while the design in the Second Creek area was further developed. Construction of Package A is underway along with the new recreation center building. The purpose of this session is to provide an update on Package B and obtain executive session input to guide negotiations.
