Summary and Background Information:
The City recently purchased five paired Burlington/Wellington shares that will result in 33.1 additional irrigation ERUs. These irrigation ERUs can be used on 2k Projects or for roadway median landscaping such as the Highway 2 expansion. The purpose of the water resource agreement is to establish the terms and conditions for the use of these ERUs including the storage fees and the tap fee credits associated with the ERUs.

Financial Impact: $57,925 total storage fee for 33.1 ERU based on fee of $1,750 per Irrigation ERU
Agreement establishes a $5,272.00 water resources credit and a $1,750 storage credit per Irrigation ERU
