Summary and Background Information:  Turnberry Park and Villages at Buffalo Run East (VBRE) Park are the second and third neighborhood parks being built as a result of the 2K Initiative.  Both parks are approximately 9 acres in size. Turnberry Park is located adjacent to Turnberry Elementary between the Turnberry and Potomac Farms subdivisions. VBRE Park is located at 116^th Ave. and Chambers Rd.  An elementary school may be built in the future on the remaining portion of that site.  A public bid process was completed and a contractor has been chosen.  (See also "Award Recommendation" document, presentation, and bid analysis.)
