Summary and Background Information:
Commerce City's Human Resources Department, in partnership with the city's Employee Activity Committee annually host a variety of activities to recognize Employee Appreciation Month each August. In addition to a pancake breakfast and BBQ, there is always supervisor-led surprises to acknowledge the work of employees throughout the year as well as formal recognition for those who have made years of service contributions to the community.
The proclamation is an opportunity for city council members to participate in employee appreciation month and recognize the public servants of Commerce City.
