Title

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 22-3 OF THE COMMERCE CITY REVISED MUNICIPAL CODE

Body

Summary and Background Information

In September of 2009, the City Council adopted Chapter 22 of the Commerce City Revised Municipal Code entitled "Matters of State Interest". This code section allows the City to maintain control over particular development projects that have statewide impacts.

The South Adams County Water and Sanitation District (the "District") has requested, through its staff, that water and sewer projects of the District be exempted from these provisions. The proposed amendment exempts such water and sewer projects of the District, but those projects would remain subject to the City's normal development review process.
