Summary and Background Information:  This project involves designing, fabricating and installing signage describing the role Fairfax Park plays in the stormwater management system in Commerce City. This interpretive or educational signage will inform park visitors that though the recreational aspect of the park in important, the drainage role it plays is crucial as well.

Staff Recommendation:  Staff recommends City Council approve Ordinance No. 1983 on first reading, allowing the city to accept and recognize funds applied for and awarded by Adams County Open Space.

 

Suggested Motion:  Approve and move to consent or 2nd reading agenda scheduled in one month.
