Resolution Approving Agreement to Terminate Intergovernmental Agreement Regarding Construction, Use and Maintenance of Salt Storage Dome

Summary and Background Information: This resolution acknowledges the termination of a 2001 agreement with Adams County to build a covered salt storage area located at the Adams County Public Works outdoor storage yard (8080 Dahlia Street). Operational needs for Commerce City Public Works and Adams County Public Works have changed rendering the agreement unnecessary. Upon execution of termination of the agreement, Adams County agrees to reimburse the City $45,000 for the City's share of the salt storage dome.
