Title
QCI Preliminary Project Analysis - New Recreation Center
Body
Summary and Background Information: City Council established the Quality Community Initiative (QCI) in the fall of 2011. QCI spent approximately 14 months studying the community's capital development needs, capital repair/replacement needs, annual operations and maintenance needs as well as revenue sources to fund projects and O&M. QCI conducted a community survey and a series of community outreach meetings resulting in their recommendations presented to City Council on January 28, 2013.
At the February City Council retreat, Council discussed the QCI report and recommendations requesting additional analysis of a proposed New Recreation Center.
