Title
Arbor Day Proclamation and Tree City USA Recognition
Body
Summary and Background Information: Commerce City has been recognized as a "Tree City USA" by the National Arbor Day Foundation for the 25th consecutive year. To celebrate and promote Arbor Day this year, parks and recreation department staff will be handing out seedlings and tree care information to the community. Angela Poulson from the Colorado State Forest Service will attend the City Council meeting on April 4 to present the Tree City USA Award to the Mayor and City Council.
