Summary and Background Information: The purpose of the annual Memorial Day parade is to honor veterans for their service to our country. It is designated to appeal to veterans and families throughout the Commerce City community and metro region. Parade entries were consistent with the purpose and design. First, second and third-place awards are awarded to entrants in the following categories:
Antigue Cars (over 40 years old)
Classic Cars (under 40 years old)
Float
Horse
Motorized unit (including motorcycles)
Unique Category
Walking/Marching
Additionally, trophies will be given to entries in three overall categories:
Best of Parade
Most Creative
Council Choice
