Summary and Background Information

The Energy Efficiency Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) program provides formula allocations to eligible entities in the form of a grant, or a voucher for technical assistance and/or equipment rebates. The City of Commerce City (City) was eligible for an amount of $121,660.

 

In April 2024, the City applied for an EECBG Equipment Rebate Voucher to install two Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations at the Municipal Services Center (MSC).

 

In July 2024, the City was notified of the award from the U.S. Department of Energy in the amount of $121,660 for two EV charging stations at MSC.
