Summary and Background Information:
The purpose of this resolution is to authorize the City Manager to enter into a Master Services Agreement LUMIN8 Transportation Technologies, LLC. for traffic signal maintenance and repair activities. LUMIN8 Transportation Technologies LLC performs traffic signal maintenance and repairs for the City owned and maintained traffic signals. Lumin8 was selected through an open, competitive Request for Proposals process in December 2023. A Master Service Agreement was approved and executed by the City Manager in February 2024. The City and LUMIN8 desire to enter into a new Master Services Agreement for a period of two additional years to allow repairs to continue on an uninterrupted, on-call basis. LUMIN8 provides critical support to City staff, including but not limited to replacing damaged signal cabinets, providing on-call master electrician services during signal outages, emergency repairs to wayside horns, coordination with the railways, and locate services.
