RESOLUTION APPROVING SUBDIVISION PLAT IN CASE S-636-15

Summary and Background Information

The subject property is approximately 20.23 acres and is zoned I-1, the city's light industrial zone district.  The applicant, UPS Ground Freight, is requesting a final plat to subdivide the property into 2 legal and conforming lots.  A conditional use permit (CU-111-15) is being requested concurrently for Lot 1 of the proposed final plat for the expansion of an existing transportation terminal.  The table below shows the standards for the I-1 zone district along with the proposed lots for the subject property.

Planning Commission Recommendation

On June 16, 2015, the Planning Commission held a public hearing, took testimony, and voted (5-0) to forward the subdivision request to City Council with a recommendation of approval, subject to the findings of fact.
