Summary and Background Information:
The Youth Commission advises the City Council on Youth matters, conducts community service projects, volunteers at events throughout the city, advises PRG on future programming and activities. Members also attend professional development trainings and team bonding activities as well as use meetings as an opportunity to learn Roberts Rules of Order.
The Youth Commission consists of eighteen (17) youth members, two (2) adult members, and two (2) city council members; officers consist of one (1) chair from the membership and one (1) vice chair from the membership.
