Summary and Background Information:
At the November 4, 2024 City Council hearing, Council was provided an update on public comment hearings for proposed revisions to the Suncor Plant 2 Title V operating permit. Following the update, City Council voted 8-1 to authorize that the Mayor speak on behalf of the City at one of the Air Quality Control Commission (AQCC) public hearings on December 10th or 14th. The Council also requested shared talking points to understand what is being communicated by the Mayor prior to testimony on one of those days.
