MY C3 Update

Summary and Background Information:
Summary and Background Information:
We last updated the Council on the MyC3 program in December 2022, shortly after the Community Development Department took over responsibility for it. The program intends to improve Commerce City's regional image and perception. Tonight's presentation will showcase the accomplishments of 2023, share what we are doing this year, and discuss additional innovative new programs that we would like to pursue.
In tonight's presentation, we aim to highlight the City's weed management and enforcement plans. We will show how Public Works has used the additional funding to achieve a more unified and consenting mowing cycle, weed management plan, and other process improvements to provide a more efficient response and resolution to weed violations.
The projects that aim to improve the public realm and citizen experience in Commerce City are on track. We will share status updates on ordinances and resolutions presented to the Council and when they will be ready for the Council's consideration.
Our Code Enforcement Division usually performs quality-of-life measures. We will share several outreach efforts and community programs that address problems on private and public properties. The changes intend to hold businesses and the City to the same standard as we do our residents.
