Meeting called to order at 6:02pm by Chair Jen Martin.  
Present: Councilwoman Noble & Councilwoman Douglas, Chair Martin, and Members  
Riggs-Gonzales, Sanchez, Jonhart, Cruz, and Gonzalez

Urban Renewal Authority (URA) Presentation & Discussion

Approval of Minutes  
Motion to approve minutes by Member Jackie Riggs-Gonzales, August Jonhart  
seconded the motion, which was approved unanimously.

a. Music in the Park

b. Art Exhibitions  
Monthly Updates  
Cultural Council discussed the decision to cancel the winter art show, and Chair Jen  
Martin provided details about the upcoming Summer Art Show.

a. Grants & Finance  
Treasurer Ronna Sanchez provided a brief update.  
Ronna Sanchez motioned to add Staff Liaison Melissa Sumner to the bank account,  
which was seconded by Jan Cruz and approved unanimously.  
Ronna Sanchez made a motion to provide Staff Liaison Melissa Sumner with a credit  
card to the account, which was seconded by Jan Cruz and approved unanimously.  
b. Public Art  
Jan Cruz motioned to accept all Art Selection Committee applicants, but to have them  
rank their 1st and 2nd choice project to choose 1 to be seated on. Kristi Douglas  
seconded the motion, which was approved unanimously.  
Council members will send staff any theme ideas they have for either project.  
Jan Cruz expressed interest in being on the Traffic Control Cabinet Art Selection  
Committee project.  
Jen Martin asked to have Michael Renk from Public Works join the traffic control box  
Art Selection Committee as well.  
Other upcoming public art projects: Oasis Park (to be completed this fall) and Second  
Creek Farm (to be completed early 2025).  
i. Monaco Park - Seat Art Selection Committee  
Staff provided an update on the project, and made a recommendation for the project to  
be a mural on the back of the tennis court wall.  
ii. Traffic Control Cabinets - Seat Art Selection Committee  
Jan Cruz motioned to approve the provided list of traffic control cabinet locations  
provided by staff. Nick Gonzalez seconded the motion, which was approved  
unanimously.
