Summary & Background
The current spray ground has a number of lateral water lines that have failed throughout the years, reducing the number of active water feature nozzles. The effected lateral lines cannot be easily replaced without demolition of majority of the spray ground surface.
To bring the spray ground back to whole, the project will involve new design, demolition of existing spray ground, construction, and installation of a new spray ground that meets all safety and regulatory requirements. The spray ground project was put out for RFP design services or design/build services, with emphasis on community input for design, schedule driven results, experience, and knowledge of high quality installations and products.
Staff recommends Colorado Hardscapes, Inc. be awarded the Professional Service Agreement to design and renovate the spray ground at Pioneer Park.
