Summary and Background Information:
The city's retained lobbyist at the state level is monitoring key legislation that is of interest to Commerce City. The attached tracker provides an update of summaries and statuses of these bills. Additionally, staff has reviewed these bills and is available to provide comments as necessary. Council's adopted positions on these bills provides direction to staff and the lobbyist to advocate on behalf of Commerce City on these matters. Additional legislation may be added to the tracker if a member of Council requests.
